A couple weeks back, we were on our way to a monthly flea market near Salem and happened to see one of those signs that make your (my) heart beat a little faster....ESTATE SALE

we turned around....(surprised?!?)
This was the house at the end of a long unpaved drive.
Dreamy, isn't it? There was so much to see...
I think we were there for over an hour, before I went back to the car to get my camera.I took LOTS of photos and will share more later. I loved the simple wood crosses hammered into the tree. The plant holder is some kind of farm implement (that's what you call anything farm related that you have no idea at all what it might be used for).
This has to be one of the oddest thing I have ever seen at any sale.

A full sized gator rug. I mean, come on... have you ever???
It was on the side porch, because it was already SOLD! No idea of the price, but you know...it would have looked darn good in my house. What about you? do you have just the perfect spot of a full sized 'gator rug?

ReplyDeleteI can't imagine that would be too cozy to step on or have the dog curl up on ! I know what it was right away...I am a Florida girl..but can't say I've seen a rug. lol
